LUCKNOW: More than 300 top companies of the world have been invited by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to attend the UP Global Investors Summit slated in Lucknow on February 10-12 next year.
These include Google, Walmart, Coca Cola, Amazon, Oracle, GE health care, Texas Instruments, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Due Energy, Intel Corporation, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and CISCO.
Officials said about 105 personalised invitations have been sent by the CM, while the remaining have been dispatched by the cabinet minister for industries and infrastructure development Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’.
“UP is the most suitable destination for investment in India is undeniable. Some of the popular locations in the country have saturated in terms of land and resource availability. The Yogi government is working to provide all facilities to investors who contribute towards development and employment generation in state,” Nandi told TOI.
He added that the summit will be a kaleidoscope of the state’s potential for all the big investors of the world. At the summit, companies will get to see the work done in UP over the past five years and how it is taking the state forward with a positive, proactive and promising vision.”
Officials said the state had also tweaked over 24 sectoral polices to make them investor friendly, growth enabling and mutually beneficial for both the state and the investors.
The summit’s curtain-raiser event will be held in Delhi on Tuesday where CM Yogi Adityanath will share the state’s vision and extend invites to the probable investors.
