KANPUR: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday said that after a few days BJP will take away the right of people to vote. “The way the situation is today, it seems that BJP will take away the right of people to vote. A day will come when Bharatiya Janata Party will destroy the constitution of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar,” said Akhilesh while addressing party workers of Mainpuri’s Karhal assembly.
He said that in the by-election of Mainpuri parliamentary seat, the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party went on talking big, but when the truth came to the fore, everyone realized their reality. While lashing out at police and administrative officers posted in the district, he said, “They (police and administrative officials) have started taking decisions by becoming leaders and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party.”
On the recent custodial death of a trader in Kanpur Dehat, he further attacked Bharatiya Janata Party and said, “BJP has created such a situation in the country that no one can get justice. In Kanpur Dehat, the police beat a businessman to death, will this be called better policing by the Yogi government.” The central and state government s unable to fulfill any promise and that is why inflation is at its peak in the country.
“GST teams have gone out on the streets for recovery from traders. These teams have been withdrawn as civic elections are round the corner, but they will come out as soon as the local body elections are over.” He said that Samajwadi Party will fight the civic elections with full force, and as soon as the reservation is implemented, the party will be seen in the main role.
Without naming Bollywood actor -Shahrukh Khan, Akhilesh Yadav said that he is being targeted because of his particular religion. “There should be no resentment on the basis of colour,” he added. Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, ministers and officials are signing MoU by going abroad, it is expected that when all of them return, they will definitely put their report on the table in the Assembly. “No effect of the signed MoU is visible,” he said. He added that the Yogi government’s ‘One District One Product’ scheme is not visible anywhere in entire state.
