LUCKNOW: Rae Bareli police on Sunday arrested three youths for allegedly barging inside an intermediate college, thrashing students and vandalizing the school property.
Police said that the arrested youths had some dispute with Class 12 students. The FIR was lodged by principal Devishankar Verma at Jagatpur police station.
Verma, in his FIR, added that a pre-board examination was being conducted on the school premises located at Shankargarh area.
“Suddenly, some youths started pelting bricks/stones inside the school campus, vandalising the building and classrooms. Some teachers and students who objected to their act were thrashed brutally. Four persons, who were identified as Krantivir, Mitrasen, Abhay and Sumit, had entered the campus and attacked the class 12 students taking the examination,” he said.
Principal said that as soon as they informed U, a team reached, and the accused fled from the spot.
Superintendent of police, Rae Bareli, Alok Priyadarshi, said that the police team tasked with the case has arrested Krantivir, Mitrasen, Abhay, all brothers.
“Hunt is on to nab Sumit also,” he said.
“We are also identifying others who pelted stones on the campus,” he said.
