LUCKNOW: If you are going to visit a doctor in a government hospital in the city make sure you are masked up, as most of the hospitals have made it mandatory. The action has been taken as a precautionary measure against Covid-19 on the direction of the state government.
From Tuesday onwards, patients and attendants will not be allowed to roam inside hospital premises without a mask, they added.
“Though most of us are vaccinated, we should not take Covid-19 lightly as it has caused havoc earlier. Therefore, we made masks mandatory for entry into the university campus,” said KGMU spokesperson, Prof Sudhir Singh. Spokesperson of RMLIMS Prof AK Jain reiterated the same.
Likewise, CMS Balrampur hospital Dr GP Gupta and SPM Civil Dr R P Singh said that apart from making masks compulsory, patients with influenza-like systems are also being screened in hospital.
